Give Me Fever
“Entertaining often amusing and highly spirited romantic romp”
In New Orleans, Tally Addison lives in a Court du Chaud townhouse built by her ancestor pirate Gabriel Dampier about two centuries ago. She believes her relative buried booty in the home that she now owns. Tally hopes to find the lost treasure so that she can use it to purchase the Blue Note where she performs.
Private investigator Christien Castille offers to help her find the buried treasure. She accepts his offer with the stipulation that their relationship remain platonic. Christien wants more, but accepts her terms as he hopes that buys him time to change her mind about them. Neither is aware that Gabriel has an interest in her falling in love. If she can break the family curse that makes the recipients always choose blind ambition over love, Gabriel will be able to finally move on.
This fevered paranormal investigative romance is a fun story that leaves the audience believing in ghosts. The key triad seems very real whether they are of the specter world or the mortal realm as the humans fall in love seeking her ancestor’s loot while said relative plays matchmaker from beyond. GIVE ME FEVER is an entertaining often amusing and highly spirited romantic romp.

Josie Russell and Max LeClerc have known each other since childhood, but Max left years ago to make his fortune, coming back home after his grandmother’s death. Josie intentionally stripped in front of a window facing Max’s townhouse one time, followed by repeat performances as requested by him in notes left in her mail slot. When they finally get together for a night of fantasy it is the beginning of a red-hot affair. Josie is certain that Max will be leaving soon; he needs to convince her that he wants a lifetime with her.
These three authors are among the hottest writers of women’s sensual fiction and this collection will warm your heart and put you in the mood for the upcoming holidays. This book is red hot and should be at the top of your TBR stack for holiday reading. I highly recommend it.

Almost Naked, Inc.
I just had to write to you after reading Almost Naked, Inc. I loved this book! I made sure to buy it after I had read Diva Diaries, which I loved as well! Anyway, I just wanted to write to you and gush over how much I love your writing. I especially adore Matt. He was way too cute! I loved the part where he was hiding under her bed and trying to keep from sneezing. Too adorable! Thank you so much for writing such great stuff. I can’t wait for more.

Mine to Entice
Forensic investigator, Kate Quinn is ready to ditch her good girl image. Called “Sister Kate” by friends and co-workers, she is resolved to do something daring. A bet with her friends gives her the perfect opportunity to make her move on tough, sexy deputy district attorney, Jericho St. James.
Jericho has had his eye on Kate for a long time, but has held back. He doesn’t want to ruin their working relationship and is afraid that once he has her, he won’t be able to let go. Yet when he watches Kate transform from prim and proper to a sexy and tempting siren, he can’t hide his feelings any longer.
Jericho and Kate’s relationship becomes even more complex with Jericho running for district attorney and prosecuting a case against a man Kate knows is innocent. Kate begins to investigate against the orders of the current district attorney, gathering evidence to free her friend and guide her to the real killer.
Her findings lead to some unlikely places and to some people who can make life very uncomfortable for her and Jericho. Will she jeopardize his election? Can he accept her for who she is? Can she give him up if it is what is best for him?
Karen Anders wraps up the Women Who Dare series with a winner. Mine to Entice was wonderful. I read it cover to cover, much to the chagrin of my family. Ms. Anders has a knack for bringing characters and relationships alive. The friendship between Kate and her friends was, as in the previous books, heartwarming and entertaining to read. The sparks flying between Jericho and Kate sizzle. Ms. Anders wove a sensual, enticing tale. This book, along with the other Woman Who Dare titles, has found a place on my keeper shelf.

Yours to Seduce
Lana Dempsey has fellow firefighter Sean O’Neill right where she wants him, out of uniform and wet. She has had a crush on him for as long as she can remember, but has never had the guts to go for it until she makes a bet with her two girlfriends. The bed gives her the push to jump in the flames and go with it.
Sam has always wanted Lana, but didn’t want to mess up a good thing—their great friendship. But when Lana corners him in the shower room, there’s no turning away from her. When Lana puts herself in danger investigating a series of arsons, Sean realizes there’s no turning back at all.
Yours to Seduce is the second installment in Karen Anders Women Who Dare miniseries, from Harlequin Blaze. Ms. Anders does not disappoint with this tale! The heat between Lana and Sean is palpable and very sexy. The love story does not get lost in the mystery Lana is trying to solve. Rather the intrigue and danger emphasize the emotional relationship between the two. It is also delightful how Anders adds in scenes with Lana’s friends, the other women who dare. This allows us to see all sides of Lana, see her as human and someone we want to know and feel for. Likable characters, exciting plot, and hot, scorching sex—yes. Karen Anders is on my “look for” list when I hit the bookstores. I can’t wait for the next Women Who Dare book.

Hers to Take
A hunky Navy SEAL, a redheaded, kick-ass detective and an illegal arms deal. What more could a romance fan ask for? How about some hot sex, too? You’ll find them all in this fun novel by Karen Anders.
Detective Sienna Parker is none too pleased to find out that the Navy Liaison Officer assigned to work with her on the gun-running case is none other than Lieutenant A.J. Camacho, the self-same hunk who spent the night before curling Sienna’s toes in a lethally hot one-night stand.
They proceed with their investigation, following clues, tracking leads and dealing with the heat which develops between them at the blink of an eyelash. And my goodness, those eyelashes blink a lot. These two can’t keep their hands off each other. To her credit, Karen Anders does a very good job of adding some depth to both Sienna and A.J., and keeps the plot centered around their search for the arms dealers.
But it’s the sex that leaps off these pages as Sienna and A.J. get hot and heavy from the start, with an energy and enthusiasm that would make a rabbit green with envy. Of course the reader can see the love building between them, but it takes a few twists and turns of the sheets before either of the two principals cotton on to the fact that they’re made for each other.
This is another delightful book that lives up to its “Blaze” billing, since these two light fires when they’re together. Sienna is every bit as demanding as A.J. when it comes to passion, and that’s a lovely change from some stories where the guy is forever initiating the action. Here, it’s fifty-fifty all the way. If you’re looking for something that will make your cheeks burn, try this book. But I’d recommend reading it in private, or your blushes will betray you.

The Diva Diaries
Karen Anders’ wonderful characterizations and her revealing of these same characters’ innermost thoughts, feelings, and conflicts helps to make The Diva Diaries such an enjoyable romance to read. In fact, it is so enjoyable that it is definitely a book that readers should plan to read in one sitting, because they will not be able to put it down once they start. Its endless array of sizzling, sexual encounters is guaranteed to leave readers breathless and that is from Jenna’s grandmother’s diary alone. Add the frantic, mind-blowing sex that goes on between Jenna and Sam and readers will be left sighing and panting as if they just ran The Boston Marathon in under 2 minutes.

Hot on Her Tail
“Hot and oh so sexy good guy and bad, bad, bad girl!!!”
Bounty hunter Austin Taggart took one look at the picture of his new “skip” and saw trouble…raw, unadulterated TROUBLE!!! He turned down the job without a backward glance until a call from his baby sister changed his mind. For Jessica, he’d tackle the very devil himself and Jessica needed money for art classes in France. Gut instincts aside, Austin set out to get his….girl!
Francesca (aka Maxie) Maxwell has skipped town on charges of embezzlement from the local bank where she had worked. Maxie swears she didn’t take any money and has gone into hiding while a trusted friend finds the “paper trail” to the real culprit who’s framed Maxie. As a waitress in The Lucky Star, Maxie has made many friends and is well loved by all who know her and are more than willing to “assist” Maxie in getting away from her bounty hunter. Getting away doesn’t seem to be a problem…it’s the staying away that gets harder and harder!
The magnetic pull between these two characters is absolutely captivating and the relationship just sizzles from the very first eye contact! The secondary characters in this book come alive as well and make the reader just want the fun and heat to keep on coming, page after page!!! While Austin is honorable to a fault, and tries to come across as tough and mean, he’s got a soft spot a mile wide. And while Maxie is cute and a reckless free spirit, she has as much honor as Austin and needs to prove herself to Austin as well as to her sister, Dorrie.
Ms. Anders has wrapped this book together and tied it with one sexy ribbon! It’s a sizzling read and you won’t want to miss it!

The Bare Facts
“This is one hot, spicy read!”
Of all the Blazes I’ve read so far, this one has to be one of the hottest. It’s all about fantasies and how one woman decides to act on hers but at what cost?
Haley Lawton is a feature writer for Spice Magazine. She’s just been handed a plum assignment to fill in for a regular writer. The problem is she has to come up with four articles on how to spice up a relationship. These articles have to be extra good so Haley can stay on as a regular feature writer. This is her big chance.
Haley had a huge crush on a guy in college. His name was Dylan Malone and he sat behind her in English class. Now he’s an ad executive with a big firm. He’s also one of those gorgeous rich guys who all the girls drool over. Graduation night Haley got so drunk that she ended up in Dylan’s room naked. The big problem with that is she doesn’t remember a thing about that night. All she knows is she ran away the next morning.
Now with some trepidation Haley calls Dylan and proposes that he help her act out her fantasies strictly for her column. Dylan wholeheartedly accepts because he has never been able to forget Haley even though he knows they could never have a relationship. She’s too normal from a middle class family and his father is such a snob. He would also like to find out exactly what happened on graduation night since he can’t remember one single detail about the whole night. He figures now at least he could enjoy Haley for a little while having no way of knowing how this whole thing will turn out.
This book really turned on the steam. I just loved reading about Haley and Dylan’s fantasies. Some of them were fun and some of them were dream fantasies. I really wanted Dylan and Haley to stay together in the end because they just seemed to be made for each other. This book was a fun read and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Jennifer’s Outlaw
Talented new author Karen Anders makes an auspicious debut with JENNIFER’S OUTLAW (3). A rodeo champion on the run from past tragedy impulsively comes to the aid of a feisty lady rancher harassed by a local bully and ends up as her temporary foreman. Although the angst gets rather thick and the timing is sometimes a bit jerky, a great start and a good finish make Ms. Anders an author to watch.
